Dali Travel Guide 2025: Itinerary, Attractions & Best Times

We visited Dali during the high season and were initially overwhelmed by the crowds everywhere. Fortunately, Daisy was there to guide us. Sensing our discomfort, she quickly adapted the itinerary and helped us discover some quieter, more peaceful places away from the tourist rush. Her calm, easygoing personality really helped us relax and enjoy the experience. Thanks to her efforts, we are now sipping afternoon tea by the lake, with a beautiful view of the Himalayan mountains, a gentle breeze, and a peaceful atmosphere in the shade—just what we needed. We truly appreciate Daisy’s dedication to making us feel good and comfortable throughout the trip. She went above and beyond, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone visiting Dali.

If you visit DALI and would like an overview and or an express tour to see the highlights, try to ask for Jessica Yang and your trip will be AMAZING. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and will visit DALI again.

China Highlights did a great job in arranging everything seamlessly for us. We just sat back and relaxed. Our guide Alice was outstanding. Very knowledgeable, accommodating and gave us good tips for things to do etc. Having an English speaking guide made a big difference as our mandarin is pretty broken.
